Phil Bale is Leader of City of Cardiff, the capital city of Wales and one of the largest and fastest growing cities in the United Kingdom. He leads a cabinet of nine City Councillors and has lead responsibility for several important areas of policy including; economic development, tourism, Welsh Language and external affairs.
Currently Leader of Nottingham City Council, Jon Collins has been a Councillor of St. Ann's, an inner city ward, in Nottingham since 1987. During this time he has served as Chair, Community Development Committee, 7 years as Deputy Leader and Portfolio Holder for Education and Work (1999-2003).
Councillor Joe Anderson became Leader of Liverpool City Council in May 2010, having been elected Leader of the Labour Group in 2002 and has been a Councillor for Riverside (previously Abercromby) since 1998.
