LGA Delivering Sustainable Communities Conference
The Core Cities Group will be hosting a workshop at the LGA conference in Birmingham in February.
The workshop will focus on planning for housing growth and sustainable communities in competitive city-regions.
The session will concentration on the contrasting challenges faced in two Core Cities: affordable housing shortages in Bristol and market failures in Sheffield. Leading housing teams will discuss innovative, financially sustainable solutions to the realities of the housing market in growing city-regions, and how these can contribute to wider economic and social regeneration.
