Sustainable Communities - Jan/Feb 05
The year started with the Core Cities attending the Sustainable Communities Summit, held in Manchester on the 31st January to 2nd February.
The Core Cities created a joint exhibition area. Rather than have eight separate areas for the cities, the exhibition was based upon a mythical city called Core City.
The exhibition highlighted what a Core City needs in order to be successful in the global economy, and focuses upon connectivity, innovation, investment in the public realm, and culture.
The stand was well received and well used by all delegates throughout the event.
