Core Cities working together

The Core Cities Group brings together the eight Core Cities and works directly on their shared priorities, and through our officer working groups and regular meetings, help share and develop best practice and delivery.

The strategic direction of the group is set by the eight elected Leaders of the cities authorities who meet regularly, as do the Chief Executives.

To develop this strategic direction, we also meet regularly with a standing group of Policy Advisors from the cities, and we have a number of thematic working groups that both develop our own policy and respond to Governments, and share practice to improve performance.
