One of the group’s most important roles is to generate new thinking, drawing on experience and evidence from our cities and elsewhere, working together to improve performance and delivery.
Taking our direction from the priorities and decisions of the Leaders of our cities, our research and policy ideas are centred on improving the economic performance of the Core Cities as a route to building stronger, more sustainable, happier places to live and work.
We believe strongly in evidence based research and as such, all of our work and proposals are backed up with strong and detailed data. These range across a broad area including:
- Transport and Connectivity
- Innovation
- Skills and Employment
- Sustainable Communities
- Culture, and Creative Industries
- Climate Change
- Finance and Industry
