The Core Cities exists with three interrelated aims: to represent the eight Core Cities on their shared priorities, to develop research and policy ideas on areas of core interest to the cities, and to work with government and other stakeholders as a delivery partner to implement those policy ideas and ensure better outcomes in our communities.
We regularly meet with representatives from government and Whitehall to explain the position of the cities and to help ensure national policy solutions work at the local level in our cities. To this end, the Core Cities want to work as partners with the government of the day to ensure the successful delivery of improved outcomes for our cities and the economy.
