The launch of the Cultural Cities Enquiry gathered national, regional and specialist headlines and generated lots of interest on social media. On launch day, our chair Jayne-Anne Gadhia appeared on BBC Radio Four's Today Programme with fellow board member Sir Nicholas Serota. She was also interviewed on BBC Radio Newcastle.

Regional press including The Newcastle Journal, Oxford Mail and Plymouth Herald all covered the launch.

We also received coverage in specialist media including Arts Professional, The Stage, The MJ and New Start Magazine.

A blog from Cllr Huw Thomas, leader of Cardiff City Council, featured in City Metric and became one of the most popular pieces of social media Core Cities UK has ever posted with more than 8,000 impressions.
