Charles is currently fellow at the Robert Bosch Academy in Berlin. He advises cities and helps them make the most of their potential.

He has published many books. Mostly recently The Civic City in a Nomadic World and The Creative Bureaucracy & its Radical Common Sense as well as Psychology & the City with Core Cities UK Director Chris Murray.
