Our Cities, Our Future: a Core Cities event.

This paper reports on the key points from a Core Cities seminar for public and private sector leaders, attended by the Deputy Prime Minister, the Rt Hon Nick Clegg MP, at ‘Electric Works’ in Sheffield on Friday the 14th January 2011.

The event included brand new economic figures indicating that Core Cities LEP areas are capable of delivering an additional 1million jobs and £44billion of economic output over the next ten years (above the current baseline) if the right national decisions are met.
